Maya Angelou’s quote on creativity is a wonderful example of an abundance vs scarcity mindset. Too often, we go through life trying to preserve rather than create.

For me for long years (perhaps until I realised I have resistance in that area) I have had the scarcity money mindset which impacted some of my decisions by not doing what I actually would love to do with the fear of not having enough money for any bad times. I have been working on changing my view for about five years now and while doing that I became more aware of concepts like creativity which actually don't get less by using them.

What else is in abundance and can't be used up or even self-renews?

- Acts of kindness, big or small, can have a ripple effect, inspiring more kindness in others and creating a more compassionate world.

- Love, in its many forms (romantic, familial, platonic, and self-love)is limitless. The more you give, the more you receive, and it can grow and expand in many directions.

- Sharing knowledge doesn't deplete it; it enhances understanding and innovation. Teaching others often deepens your own comprehension.

- Resilience, or the ability to bounce back from adversity, can grow stronger with each challenge faced. It's a resource that builds with use.

- Hope is resilient and self-renewing. Even in difficult times, fostering hope can lead to positive outcomes and inspire others.

- Practicing gratitude can lead to greater happiness and contentment. The more you acknowledge and appreciate, the more you find to be grateful for.

- Joy multiplies when shared. Finding and spreading joy can lead to a more fulfilling and happy life.

- Wisdom grows with experience and reflection. Sharing wisdom helps others while deepening your own understanding.

What else is in abundance?
